This 5-days Serengeti, Tarangire and Ngorongoro safari is a comprehensive adventure that raises your eyebrows to the stunning landscape, flora and fauna, and natural scenery of Tanzania. You will visit the most famous and gifted destinations in the country, engaging in fascinating activities and encountering several wildlife species, such as mammals, birds and unique tree species among others.
You will visit Ngorongoro conservation crater; hosting Africa’s Big 5 and the world’s largest unbroken caldera; Serengeti national park hosting the world’s annual wildebeest migration, and Tarangire national park with one of the highest concentration of wildlife.
Engage in game drives, photography, hiking, birding, sightseeing, and cultural encounter among others. The trip will happen within the northern circuit of Tanzania, starting and ending in Arusha.

Day 1: Arrival and Depart to Tarangire National Park
On this day, your driver-guide will meet and brief you about this rewarding adventure; giving you more insights into the different destinations, and answering some of your questions. Thereafter, you two will have a glass of Juice, before embarking on the Journey to Tarangire national park; one of the finest destinations in Tanzania, with the second-largest concentration of wildlife.
The drive will be composed of amazing views of stunning features, flora, and natives carrying on with their daily chores. Besides landscapes and vegetations, avoid photographing people or building along the way, unless permission is granted.
Depending on the time the journey started, lunch will either be around Arusha city or the park, whereas dinner and overnight are settled at the park. In case you arrive at the park early, there will be an afternoon game drive that exposes you to a wide range of mammals and unique tree species.
Day 2: Explore Tarangire national park and drive to Serengeti national park
At sunrise, you will enjoy an early morning breakfast before heading for a rewarding 4-5 hours’ game drive around the savannah grassland and shores of Tarangire; hoping to spot a variety of mammals such as the elephants, wildebeest, zebras, and several antelope species among others, but not forgetting the fascinating landscape, birds and unique tree species.
Thereafter, you will drive back to the lodge for lunch, before checking out of the lodge for a transfer to Serengeti national park; one of the leading travel destinations in Africa, and host to the annual wildebeest migration. You will traverse several stunning landscapes, green plantations and encounter different mammals as you head to your lodge for refreshment, dinner, and overnight
Day 3: Explore Serengeti national park
At dawn, you will greet your intestines with a sumptuous cup of coffee, before picking all your gadgets, namely; camera, and binoculars for an entire day game viewing experience at a section of Serengeti national park, offering asylum to prey, predators, vultures, birds, and eye-catching landscape.
With luck, expect to encounter the wildebeests, lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, gazelles, elephants, buffalos, giraffes, warthogs, and rhinos among others; rare bird species such as the flamingos, ostriches, and lovebirds among others. There will be a picnic lunch break, 3-4hr evening game drive, followed by dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 4: Maasai cultural visit and transfer to Ngorongoro crater – evening game drive
After breakfast, head for a 2-3 hours’ village walk with the Maasai people; visiting the local manyattas, seeing their local tools, and dancing to their local songs. The Maasai are one of the ancient tribes in the world who have preserved their original cultural practices amidst modernity.
They are herdsmen, depending on cattle products such as milk, blood, meat, and hides among others. After the fun, proceed with the drive to Ngorongoro crater for an evening game drive, with hopes of spotting if not all, the most of the Ungulates and Africa’s big 5 such as the wildebeest, zebras, lions, zebras, elephants, buffalos, Rhinoceros and warthogs among others, followed by dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Hike to the Ngorongoro crater rim and departure
At the crack of dawn, you will have a hefty breakfast, followed by a rewarding 3-4 hours’ hike to the crater rim, as well as a game drive. The crater rim is the largest unbroken caldera in the world, offering a chance of watching several mammals such as Africa’s big five namely the lions, elephants, leopards, buffalos, and Rhinos, as well as primates, and birds in their hideouts.
You are free to take as many photos as possible and ask numerous questions on what you haven’t understood.
Upon descending from the crater, you will have a brief game drive while returning to the lodge for lunch and departure.
