The 4 days Zanzibar holiday is the only way to go as you tour the island in Tanzania with the most beautiful sites and beaches. This safari involves a visit to the stone town, spice tour, Jozani forest and enjoy the sunset cruise, visit the Mangapwani village among others.
All these are great ways to go as you spot different attractions like the rare primates in Jozani forest, music academy and old music dispensary in stone town among others.
Relaxing at the beach on the third day is great while viewing the blue waters of gigantic Indian Ocean. You will participate in different activities like swimming, sunbathing, nature walks among others.
Detailed itinerary.
Day 1: Arrival in Zanzibar and stone town tour
Welcome to Zanzibar. This is a Tanzanian island located in the Indian Ocean. You will be welcomed by our driver guide who will take you through a marvellous briefing concerning about this 4 days safari to Zanzibar.
You will then find your way to stone town where you will visit places like Dhow Countries Music Academy, Malindi Mosque, and the Old Dispensary among others. Later on, transfer to a resort beach for your accommodation.
Day 2: Spice tour, Jozani forest and sunset dhow cruise
Have a spiced tea and then head for a spice tour where you will visit plantations of different spices like cinnamon, Nutmeg, Tumeric root, black paper, cloves among others. Then, head and visit Jozani forest which has unique vegetation and kirk’s red colobus monkeys as well as beautiful and rare primates.
You will have a walk to explore more about this forest. Then, the tour will enjoy a boat cruise along the Indian Ocean as you experience the sunset cruise.
Day 3: Full day relaxation on the beach
Take a full day relaxing at the beach as you swim, sunbath, read a novel, horse riding, speed boat or just chilling with a glass of juice under a coconut tree.
Day 4: Day tour to Mangapwani village and departure
Take your breakfast and then have a tour to Mangapwani village which is situated on the northwest coast, 25 kilometres north of Zanzibar capital of Stone Town. The town is translated as Arabian shore which was attained way back in the 1840s because of being a slave market.
You can do cave exploration, Mangapwani Slave Chamber, Mangapwani Beach among others. And after, you will transfer back to the airport and board your flight back depending on your ticket schedule. Come back again!
